Meet Jennifer Davis

Originally from Atlanta, Jennifer received a music education degree from Carson-Newman college with an emphasis in voice and piano. After graduation, Jennifer taught music to K-6th grade students at a private school in the Dominican Republic. She co-led two school-wide musicals, and co-wrote one of those musicals. Upon returning to the United States, Jennifer taught private music lessons in her home for several years while continuing to perform locally, enjoying a couple of opportunities to solo in the Messiah. In the past 15 years Jennifer has had extensive experience teaching many subjects in a variety of contexts. She has taught her own 4 children (ages 10, 12, 17, 19) along with the children of several other families in a homeschool co-op that she co-founded and directed. She has also directed a community children’s choir and introduced many young people to the joy of music. Jennifer has a passion for connecting with students to make them feel comfortable and confident while also challenging and inspiring them to offer their best!
